Our Goal
Food insecurity amongst college students is a growing challenge—a challenge made even more apparent during this pandemic. Being "food insecure" means having limited or uncertain access to a sufficient quantity of healthy food (USDA, 2011).
Recent data shows that approximately 18% of Concordia students experience food insecurity in some form.*
Our vision is to help reduce the barriers and challenges that college students face with food insecurity.
We strive to make sure that the Cobber Food Pantry will be a welcoming, judgement-free, and easy-to-access resource where Cobbers will be supported in meeting their need for healthy food...and we welcome your feedback as we make this journey with you!
